Kelly T. Human is a seasoned attorney with more than two decades of experience. She loves being part of the DC and Maryland legal communities. Formerly of the Bluegrass State, Ms. Human received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Louisville, and she also holds a Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Kentucky. Ms. Human is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Maryland, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the District of Columbia. She is a licensed Associate Broker in Maryland and is active with various real estate and legal professional organizations. Named Educator of the Year for 2023, she continues to serve as an instructor on Kentucky real estate matters, as well as a public speaker and instructor in her various fields of experience.
A former felony prosecutor and current litigator, Ms. Human has taught courses covering Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Family Law, Business Law, Property Law, Constitutional Law, and American Constitutional History. She currently practices with a focus on real estate, business litigation, and estate planning. Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kelly T. Human is a proud steel town girl (GO STEELERS!), where she served as an Appellate Clerk for the Superior Court of Pennsylvania during law school. A passionate teacher and lifelong learner, she is devoted to educational outreach and children’s causes, especially seeking to shine a light on mental health. She currently serves on the Executive Board for the Community Harvest Network, assisting in the battle against food insecurity in Calvert County, Maryland, where she proudly calls home.
Beyond her law practice, Ms. Human’s dedication to nonprofit organizations and steadfast support of education keeps her busy, along with her three sons, two dogs, and active husband. Kelly T. Human enjoys life in Southern Maryland with yoga, reading, sports (GO CATS!), and any activity in, on, or near the water.
